Med Center Health Unveils Southcentral Kentucky’s First Combined Emergency Room and Urgent Care
Med Center Health has unveiled a regional first: a single facility that seamlessly combines emergency room and urgent care services for Southcentral Kentucky.

Bowling Green, Ky. (04/23/26) – Intuitive Health, alongside Med Center Health, has cut the ribbon on Southcentral Kentucky’s first combined emergency and urgent care facility, giving patients convenient access to both levels of care under one roof. Med Center Health Emergency + UrgentCare, located at 457 Lovers Lane in The Hub, is the third such facility in Kentucky, and the only one in the region.

Upon arrival, patients will be evaluated by board-certified, emergency medicine physicians who will determine the appropriate level of treatment. The 12,000-square-foot facility also features 24/7 on-site laboratory and radiology services, including X-ray, ultrasound and a 64-slice CT scanner to ensure patients receive high-quality care.

Those who don’t need emergency services are treated as urgent care patients and billed accordingly, helping avoid unnecessary costs and confusion.
