and launch its hospital-branded hybrid ER and urgent care facilities serving
the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Intuitive Health's proven combined emergency
and urgent care model simplifies and improves how patients access immediate
care while lowering out-of-pocket costs. The three PRESNow open facilities
are located in high traffic retail settings.
Intuitive Health's innovative integrated emergency and urgent care model
helps to significantly reduce inappropriate ER utilization by treating
both major and minor medical conditions. At each of the PRESNow walk-in
clinics, the patient journey begins with an assessment/triage by a clinician
trained in emergency medicine. Using objective treatment criteria, patients
are classified as either as emergency or urgent care. However, before
treatment even begins, patients are told the type of care needed and whether
they will be treated as an ER or an urgent care patient. Additional consent
is required for an emergency care patient to ensure no billing surprises,
which is above and beyond what is required. Intuitive Health’s commitment
